I found my way here through Mo Willems blog, http://mowillemsdoodles.blogspot.com/. I just love his work and think that it's popularity is due to his successful illustrations. They pop out from the rest on the shelf and just beg you to pick up the books and flip through them. As an author/illustrator, I'm always on the look out for different author/ illustrators. I wonder though how set in your style you can find yourself when the text beckons different moods? It's as if you're creating a language of your own then.
